Justin Chandler (Singer): Justin’s love for country music goes all the way back to childhood, listening to artists like Garth Brooks, George Straight and Brooks and Dunn. At the age of 16, Justin began singing and playing guitar and once he got a taste for the stage he never looked back. Playing with some of Connecticut’s premier country bands, Justin honed his skill as a singer and front man. Never settling, Justin continues to set the bar higher and higher with each performance.

Dan Randi (Guitar): Dan has been playing guitar since he was 11 years old. Growing up his influences included Jimmy Page, Randy Rhodes, Alex Lifeson and Chris DeGarmo. In his late teens Dan developed an appreciation for jazz music and began listening to artists like Wes Montgomery, Pat Methany and Jon Scofield. At the age of 23, Dan began his career as a full time musician and hasn’t looked back. He is a professional guitar instructor with over 40 students and he performs regularly as a session player, substitute musician on guitar and bass and regularly with JCB. Playing everything from jazz to heavy metal, it was on a pick-up gig where he was first exposed to playing modern country music, and first met Justin Chandler.

Phil Forbes (Guitar): Phil began playing guitar at the age of 14, studying with the great Sal Salvador and learning the tools of the trade. He has had a long career in music since then either teaching or playing in many musical styles. Phil is the owner of Route 7 Music in Brookfield and has long shaped the local musical landscape through private instruction and providing retail services to local musicians. An author of two guitar method books and a few CD releases, his music styles range from rock, blues, jazz and country. When the opportunity came to play in JCB, it was a natural fit for Phil as he had grown up listening to Johnny Cash and Hank Williams.

Pat Lavery (Bass): Pat grew up around country music. His Grandfather came from Texas and listened to Jimmie Rodgers, Bob Wills and Hank Williams. He grew up in a house that had not only Ray Charles and Fats Domino, but also Johnny Cash, Charlie Rich, Waylon and Willie and Jerry Jeff Walker playing all day long. After high school, Pat moved to Austin and played classic country covers by Merle Haggard, George Jones, and Ray Price.in a band that gigged around Central Texas. Pat returned to the Northeast for college and studied jazz during the day, and played country and 50’s and 60’s rock and roll at night. Since then, Pat has worked with diverse artists like Mystic Bowie, Renard Boissiere, Christopher Robin, Spontaneous Combustion as well as his own band.

Edward James (Drums): Edward James grew up on a small dairy farm in Wisconsin. He developed a love for cheese and playing the drums at an early age. During his teens and early 20’s he was a cowboy in the rodeo. After a near death experience he gave up the rodeo life and began A career as a drummer in a country band and continues to play to this day.
